DJ Paul T of Warner Music/BasicLux, born in Singapore, has been in the game for 20 years, and is known both for his live mixing and production skills in the studio. His fusion of down tempo, house, electro and hip-hop gives his music global appeal, with sounds that stretch across musical genres. He recently collaborated with Billboard Hit Makers-Madison Park’s on a new album titled, “In the Stars.”

DJ Paul T has worked under major labels including Sony Music, Universal Music, Def Jam, ToCo and BMG. In June of 2009, he opened up for Lady Gaga in Singapore. Most recently, Paul T was commissioned by Roland Japan to create the demo track for their MV-8800 studio product. His most recent album, “AUDIOBIOGRAPHY” (2009) has caught the attention of many by continuing to push the envelope, demonstrating this award winning artist’s knack for progressive sounds.

When it comes to gear, DJ Paul T relies on Stanton products. “In my twice weekly residency and gigs, there are 2 Stanton products that are standard packed in my DJ bag-the Scs3d and Uberstand. They have become a necessity and a standard set-up in my DJ rig. The Scs3d allows me to do multiple triggers of cue points cutting and editing on the fly.”

He continues, “With the tactile touch interface I can sweep across loop points creating cool loop rolls. The MIDI mapping is extremely versatile and easy to use with the software that I am using. The Uberstand is super sturdy and always reliable to put my laptop on at all my gigs. It’s a DVS laptop must have. Best of all, these products look really good in my rig; some call it my ‘bling bling’!”
