The Stanton Group kicked off international promotions of the new Cerwin-Vega Active system, latest Stanton DJ products, and KRK's newest innovations at the 2008 Musikmesse Show in Frankfurt, Germany. This year's show played host to over 112,000 visitors from over 126 countries, and the Stanton Group had maximum impact with a brand new booth in Hall A and also a seperate and private meeting area dedicated to showcasing the KRK Systems products. The booth featured a live stage powered by the Cerwin-Vega Active Series where daily performances took place on the latest Stanton gear. Highlights of the show included Michael Burian on the new SCS.1m mixer controller (part of the new Stanton SC System) seamlessly operating Ableton Live, and a unique performance by top Italian DJ duo "Deelay" also performing on the SC System operating Ableton Live, joined by superstar bass guitarist Saturnino. Other big crowd-drawing highlights were KRK's new ERGO room correction device and first ever hands-on stations for SC System where guests were able to test the units with Traktor, Deckadance, and Ableton Live. This year's Winter Music Conference was bigger and crazier than ever and Stanton took full advantage by participating in multiple venues all over the beach! KRK had a cabana at Remix Hotel Miami in the National Hotel where they hosted regular demonstrations of the new ERGO room correction device, and also gave visitors the chance to witness the Official KRK monitor shoot out...which allowed them to hear the difference that KRK professional monitors create in a studio environment.

Stanton DJ and Cerwin-Vega loudspeakers (www.cerwin-vega.com) also took over a cabana at the National Hotel for Remix Hotel Miami, where we featured hourly DJ performances by top talent of all genres such as Reid Speed, Stryke, mLe, Topcat,and Annalyze... all showcasing their talent through the powerful Cerwin Vega Active professional speakers. Additionally, Richard Devine and Michael Burian wowed onlookers with performances on the brand new SC System controllers. On Friday, hip hop producer extraordinaire Hi-Tek took the stage on the Stanton cabana with an insane performance on the new C.324 CD players, then made his way over to the KRK cabana for a production Q&A session. KRK (www.krksys.com) was the official monitor partner for the event, so VXT6s and other top quality KRK line monitors could be seen and heard all over Remix Hotel Miami on cabanas such as Sony, Korg, Access Music, and others!

Another exciting venue Stanton was involved with this year was the AX Music Lounge in the Raleigh Penthouse, where we allowed invite-only VIP DJ talent and other special guests to gain hands on experience, and participate in one on one demonstrations of the new SC System Controllers (www.enterthesystem.com). Additionally, Michael Burian and Richard Devine visited to perform special SC System sets. Sirius Satellite Radio, who presented the event along with Armani Exchange, ran a full time live broadcast featuring interviews with top international DJs such as Paul Van Dyk, The Scumfrog, James Zabiela, Bob Sinclar, Junkie XL, and many others. Belvedere vodka and Cafe Bustelo were both on-hand to provide all guests with complimentary cocktails and java beverages! It was a great time, and we can't wait until next year!

In addition to these events, Stanton also made appearances at other popular venues such as Bring on the Beats, the annual AM Only Party, The Recording Academy's WMC Grammy Reception, and the Official Winter Music Conference!
