Roc Raida's Gong Battle For World Supremacy stopped off at Bar Rumba in London on Friday September 8th. Eclectic Breaks' weekly promotion "The Getdown", partnered with Stanton DJ, played host to the all new DJ competition, with this European chapter picking up from the very first Gong Battle that was held in April 2006 at S.O.B's nightclub in New York. REMIX ATLANTA

September 6-8, 2006 Stanton was out in full effect at REMIX Hotel Atlanta. The Stanton booth hosted daily performances by Master Fuol and DJ IllNaughty and BET Rap City's MadLinx, and showcased all of the latest hot products like the new C.314 Tabletop CD/MP3 players and the newly redesigned Stanton cartridge line. Partnered with the 2006 Billboard Hip Hop Music Conference and Awards, the event reeled in some of hip hop's heavyweights such as Ludacris and Jermaine Dupree... even NBA star Ron Artest came through to check it out. If you couldn't make it out, you missed a party!

SUMMER X-GAMES 06

At this year's Summer X-Games in Southern California, Stanton DJs Faust and Shortee performed live on FS2 in front of the John Lennon Tour Bus. Spectators were thrilled to take a look inside the tour bus... it's tricked with a full Stanton DJ set up for anyone looking to try out their own skills!

CROTONA PARK JAMZ

Stanton was a proud sponsor of the Crotona Park Jams in Bronx, NY throughout the month of July. Presented by Tools of War, the event was a huge success, bringing together old school and new school hip hop fans alike for a series of Thursday nights featuring the top turntablists from all around. Performances included names like Roc Raida, Popmaster Fabel, Kool Herc, the Cold Crush Brothers, Kool DJ Red Alert, DMC World Champ DJ Cash Money, Jazzy Jay, and many more. All performers were thrilled to receive and use their own pair of our top of the line Stanton DJ Pro 3000 headphones and our brand new 2006 cartridges.

2006 TURNTABLIST SESSIONS

Every Thursday throughout the month of June, Stanton represented at the 2006 Turntablist Sessions series. Held in Queens' beloved Rufus King Park, this Hip Hop park jam series featured decades of legendary partyrockers, selectors, and DJ Battle champs. The event was arranged and hosted by Tools of War, and featured performances by legends such as the X-ecutioners, DJ Tony Tone of the Cold Crush Brothers, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Johnny "Juice" Rosado (Public Enemy), Fat Fingaz (IBP), and countless others.
